Exclusively Setters

Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

On Friday May 7, 2010 we had to let our Beautiful Redlin go. He was the best boy we have ever had and the best friend I have ever had.  He was a joy to have  and he brought great joy to all those who knew him.  We loved him dearly and our lives will not be the same without our " Bugga Boy!'

If the lord only knew what he was in for now!,  Maybe he would have thought twice.

It's always so sad when the time comes to let them go, leaves such a huge Irish Setter shaped void in your life and heart. Your right about JOY, don't think there's another breed that can match their 'joie de vivre!'. Jinty was almost 16 when I let her go, she had become such a stately old lady!, I was lost without her, she had been such a large part of my life and now, - well, there's Rio at 11 months he is the canine equivalent of Tigger!. fills our day's with fun, chaos, joy and laughter, exasperation and the occasional temper tantrum - on my part!. Think if there weren't Irish Setters we would have to invent something else to enrich our lives!.
So sorry to hear your sad news and I hope Redlin is giving the Lord some serious Setter cheekiness! X
