Is there any Irish setters living in or around Reading , Berkshire, we have had Ziggy for over a year now and have not bumped into one Setter yet ,there must be some out there...

I live 17 miles away from Reading and I only know of 3 other Irish Setters in my immediate area.

I live in Brighton and have only ever met 1 other Setter... once. I know of two others who live in town but have only ever met their owner at B&Q not the dogs..... Must be the illusive Setter thing. :)
But it's nice to have a dog that you don't see on each street corner, don't you think?

Or the obligatory "Oh we/my grandparents/auntie/neighbours/etc USED to have one of THOSE... Please can I stroke your dog?"
Which always makes me wonder: WHY don't they now? Who's mad: me or them? ;)
