Read some very true words in the past Our Dogs, written by Michael McCarthy" My advice to all our judges whether at home or abroad is to read the standard before you enter the ring, take written notes with you to cover the different breeds you are judging and deliver the critique based on the standards of these breeds".
Very thoughtful words, I think.
