- My husband and I love Irish Setters. We have had a redhead in our lives for numerous years. Unfortunately, we lost our dear boy, Ozzy on November 2, 2011. It's a hard road to travel, however the love, joy and laughter that we received from him is worth every tear. As they say....better to have loved, and lost to have never loved at all. Our redheads will always live in our hearts, soul and memories.

I m sorry I also wanted to tell you I am so sorry for your loss - I know how hard
that is - I lost three within a span of 11 months - they are still in my heart and
I have pictures and memories that hold them close to my heart. When I got
new babies - they did not take the place of my former dogs - they helped fill
a very large void. Irish are such special dogs.
