yes the setter pose or is it just the females

Oh I can promise you it is also the pose for the male Irish Setter also......as all of my boys would nap like this.  Used to wonder if because they came from pretty good sized litters that perhaps they were used to napping with feet up to keep them from being stepped on? or because of lack of space in the puppy box?

i thought it was just the females being hussies... Looks like your Molly is lying on a single chair like that, ours likes to spread out on the double seater.

Well Ladies, to my little knowledge, I do not know one single Irish Setter (and I guess all setters) who does not sleep that way.... males and females. Afghan, Borzoi and Alsatian too, for sure. So I guess tall dogs need to rest their spine that way??? or do they need some "sunnyside" ventilation?? (love the expression Sherry), or is it the surrender position to sleep safely??? what are your guesses Ladies?
