Andy would you please put a little more trust in beautiful and wise Riley!!!!  :-)  Seriously now, having an older dog helps a lot... puppies do tend to copy older dogs. Not sure of the age and comportment of your beautiful Cassie, but if necessary, find someone with an older dog (not an oldie though, as it could be far too much for them) but make sure this older dog is an obedient and well behaved one  :-)  :-)  dogs are doing the job for us, far better and far quicker!!!!

You are right Chantal, we should trust Riley more. Riley is ten months old and Cassie is eleven months old. Cassie always listens to us and is a good girl. She has been off the lead before. We were amazed how good Riley was, he was like a different dog. Although we walk them at that park often, we will only let him off if it is quiet in that field. The field is quite enclosed, but people have picnics there. It will be best if it is raining a little. He will be let off more often and hope we will be able to let him off every time we go on our walks.
