Thankfully it was only on this dreadful sofa that had been left behind by the previous owners. She's never been cheeky enough to try on our nice ones. Thing is it is quite nice to have a cuddle with an afternoon cup of tea - just don't tell Mr B.

We tried to apply the off-sofa rule at first but in the end we failed miserably... Thankfully he is a restless character and tends to move off after a power nap.

The no sofa rule has completely gone out of the window now - Mr B and I had flu over christmas and new year and she sensed our weakness and took full advantage of all the lying about we were doing and our lack of energy for an argument.  We are determined not to capitulate on the "no dogs upstairs apart from bath time" rule as it seems to be the only remaining one out of about 25 we set when we got her as a pup!
