Poor Erin waiting for something from the BBQ, she looks lovely (",)
I know both the face and the sentiment well! I am often surprised not to receive a visit from the RSPCA for the gross neglect that Bella suffers on such occasions. xx
Susan how could you do that to poor Erin
"Hi, Mum! I'm sure this is a joke and you'll get your BBQ share as well! Just put on your best smile and look - works for me all the time :-))" Joy
Anyone who knows me will confim I am really mean to my dogs!!!
Dont joke about RSPCA I had a visit years ago after my other boy had bloated someone told them looked like he was starved, i suppose he did look a state a shaved stomach and he wasn't eating much and you know how they play on things, inspector was quite nice when i explained but said they must follow things up, but it was a terrible shock
God Ellen, how awful. I appreciate that someone obviously had concern for your dog but what a trauma to find the RSPCA on your doorstep! It must have been a worrying time after the bloat anyway without the addition of that. I often joke about Boo taking herself off to the Dog Rescue to find herself a better life given all she suffers here, I can imagine yours are the same Susan.
I suppose we do easily make a joke about the RSPCA but they do a great job! Terrible shock for you Ellen when your dogs are so well cared for. Sometimes the public means well but have no idea about dogs, let alone setters... I've been warned of taking mine out for a run with the bicycle - their is actually nothing Glen loves more!
