LOL
Oh bless ha ha :))
Molly is such a daredevil and no matter what Lucas does, she always comes back for more. He starts off trying to avoid her, then he patiently endures some of her antics (jumping, biting ...) and when he gets fed up, he barks at her, chases her and will snap a her, but she just doesn't give up ... Have any of you gone through something similar?
I think girls will be girls, and she knows she will be the boss sooner or later :))
Suzanne, I think you are right ... that's exactly what is going to happen ... But Lucas seems very fed up at times and sometimes I'm even a bit scared he might actually hurt Molly ... It's such a difficult situation ... when I close the door to Lucas's room where he's resting, I feel bad for him, but when I keep Molly in her playing and sleeping room, I feel bad for her :-(
...think Molly has "young power" and Lucas (as the older one) do not want this play but he will NOT hurt her because both have the same "stable" :-))
I am sure that they will sort it out amongst themselves, they all like to push the boundaries ....
Thank you Undine and Suzanne for your very helpful comments. Lucas and Molly are playing quite nicely at times ... I even think Lucas is starting to enjoy her company a little bit ... at times. Then there are times when Lucas obviously wants some peace and quiet and I think it best to make sure he gets to rest in between. There have been situations which were quite scary for me, but so far neither of the two has been hurt in any way, so I am beginning to trust that Lucas would indeed not hurt Molly. And I feel that Molly is controlling her sharp teeth a bit better ;-))
I am very glad to hear it, they will be best of buddies in no time once they understand each other a bit better :))
Your word in God's ear! (as one says in German ...) ;-)
