Yes Chantal she was. When Charlie was born, Penny would not stay in the same room as him. If we brought him into the room Penny would leave. As soon as Charlie was put on the floor for the first time, Penny stayed with him. She stayed with him all the time after that moment. Penny was so good and did not have a grain of nastiness in her. I think she was a little bit scared of the baby at first. I could never dream of a dog that I could trust more than her. Charlie and Penny were very best friends and he misses her. Charlie is 9 years old now.
