Not a litter for me. This is one of my boys at 6wks. I was going up to visit them from the time they were 10days old. It's a great story really. After I lost Sackett last June, I really had no intentions of another any time soon. The 'empty nest' thing does allow a measure of freedom. I sort of poked around looking for litters but no breeders anywhere near me planned litters nor did they know of any in nearby states. Then someone told me of an elderly lady only 4miles from me with a litter who breeds solely for love of the dogs. I had no clue of someone so close after 25+ yrs of IS. I dragged my feet and finally get around to calling her and she knows of me and I have pick of the litter if I want it. As any IS lover knows, one is funn, two is better. Keba and Rooker are now 9mo and the nest is chaotic again.

What a great story Rob and I am so glad you now have two (full size) puppies at home with you. No doubt you have forgotten what means "freedom" but once you have tried the "Irish Setter Magic", there is no chance you will be without one for too long .... a big cuddles to Keba and Rooker from me  :-)
