Hobson has never been keen on having his photo taken, so this was the best I could do today. Even though outwardly Hobson looks worse, he is going through a "healing crisis" right now. This is an extremely trying time, particularly for me! Misty is worried too, but Hobson is still eating well and his energy is very good on our walks. Our friends we meet on our walks are all saying that despite his weight loss, Hobson is looking much better. I will not worry so much when Hobson puts on weight again. (Misty looks "scruffy" because we had not been long out of bed and she has not even been brushed. She is also in desperate need of a groom.)

On a more positive note ,its difficult to tell in photos, but i do think Hobsons coat and skin look much better in this photo than when you posted an earlier one a few months ago,I so hope your boy is on the road to recovery even if its going to be a long road.great to hear hes eating well and enjoying his walks too.

Hi Karen, Unfortunately Hobson has deteriorated since this photo. His deterioration in the last 2 weeks is frightening. There is so much ignorance concerning systemic yeast infection. The term itself is confusing because it is not an infection. I have always known that caution should be used with probiotics but I never imagined a probiotic could cause this much damage. There is no point in telling the vet because in Australia the large majority of vets i.e. 99.9% accept no accountability. I have to hold onto my hope and as you say, Hobson is still eating well and enjoying his walks. His temperature and urine are also normal. So, there is reason for hope. xxxx

Hi Susan

So sorry to hear how poorly Hobson really is, i truly thought by your posts he was turning a corner.

While hes eating well and enjoying his walks they are positive signs hes not ready to leave his Mummy yet,the love he has for you must be playing a massive part in why your boys such a fighter.

Please give Hobson a big cuddle from me,you are both in my thoughts during this difficult time and dont forget to look after yourself too -your animal family need you very much.Take Care xx
