Rose and Hobson on her 12th Birthday
Rose has conformation problems as can be seen from the way her elbows stick out and her hips are not any better. This is making it hard for her as she enters her mature years. She was 7 years old when she came to me. Despite this she fights to enjoy her life, especially on her Birthday. I am trying a new supplement, Technyflex for her arthritis and I am giving this to Hobson and Hammer as well. Poor Hobson is suffering at present with the intense heat and humidity. His left eye gets itchy as well as his feet. They are both more beautiful than ever.

What a wonderful picture. And story, one lucky dog to have met you and your family, have you tried Glucosamine and Conduatin...(don't know if that is how you spell it) I worked on Jas...she had some saw joints...I hope that she has many more years with you...and yours...;o))

I have been giving Rose these joint supplements since she arrived. I am giving Technyflex a try because it is supposed to be better. A Google search will tell you about the product. A longhaired dachshund breeder told me 25+ years ago to give Ester C daily and I feel this helps with overall health. I also give other natural supplements to boost their immune systems as well as a natural diet but continually carry out research and adjust when required. We all like to have a break and eat a good meat pie and cheese cake, particularly at Birthday time.
