Hi Fran, yes cream cheese on top, he was licking his lips for  ages afterwards, i thought it wasn't bad for my first attempt at doggy Birthday cake (",)

Your first attempt :-) Well done Ellen.  Really good, much better than I could have done, that's why I leave doggy cakes to my friend who is very clever at making them.

When the girls were small i used to bake them cakes my best ones were Mr Blobby and Zippy, but not baked for years and first doggy cake, but he loved it (",)
