I have not seen my special White Faced Heron friend, Sam for more than a week because of the terrible weather we continue to experience with torrential rain, strong winds and flooding. Thankfully Sam came to me today to let me know he is safe. This is a photo of Sam on our roof. He was a little shaken at first.

Glad he is safe Susan I once had a Pheasant that did the same....and then one day he came home with two of his wives....he never had any tail feathers, perhaps he was ''hen pecked''...lol
