Oh dear! He's probably kept more than himself awake ... was that on a public campground...? (I read you comment on the other photo!) I could not have left Joy outside - she knows how to bite through her harness with ease - I think she would have just relieved herself of the leash and gone exploring...
Oh my poor poor Simba!!! another deprived setter ... :-( Wee Mac understands you very well and he is sending you a big cuddle :-)

Cornelia it was not to bad as we were on a national trust campsite and they put us up in the woods far away from anyone, only downside was that simba did not like the Owl's, Woodpecker's, Deer calling or any other sound but he did get used to it and was better on the second night and sleep like a log. There was no chance of him escaping he was so set on standing guard (I think i brought him back in to the tent five or six times during the night but he still found a way back out of the tent to stand guard)
Chantal, Simba deprived the boy was spoilt rotten every where we went not just by us i might add. Even the local butcher gave us treats for them.
