Alice Shally here.
I am the proud owner of Ardbraccan New Dawn aka Ruby who has just given birth for the first time to 10 puppies. 5 boys and 5 girls. The daddy of these gorgeous puppies is Glennara Coer De Lion
Ruby is 4 years old and we've had her since we bought her from Trudy as a puppy.
We 're amazed at how good a mommy Ruby is and its such fun watching the wee ones trying to walk. They re two weeks old today and have just opened their eyes and they re so cute. Their eyes are definitely the windows of the soul. There is such excitement here with all the new moves and since its all new to us we don t know what to expect, but we hoping for lots of licks and tails wagging in the coming months.
Welcome to ES Alice & Marian!!! congratulations for all the puppies, cannot wait to see plenty of pictures of them .. and a very special welcome cuddle to Ruby :-) Where are you based in Ireland?
Many thanks for the invite Alice & Marian, and very happy to become your ES friend !!! A huge thank you for all those wonderful puppies pictures ... what a delight !!!!

Welcome and congrats on the new babies. I have two Setters - one an Irish and one
a Red. About 13 years ago we too ventured forward with out Setters and had a litter
of 7 healthy little redheads - it was the most special time - I have such wonderful
memories - all of those dogs are gone now. Make sure you take lots of pictures
of the babies - they grow too quickly. I am awaiting news starting next week of
an arrival of a new puppy that a friend of mine is going to gift to me. She and
I met on the computer and we both have such a love of the Irish Setter - she
had just lost her girl and one month to the day before - I had lost my Molly
who was the last of the litter I spoke about. So we are excited to have a
new baby coming soon. Will post pics when h/she arrives. This is a great
site to share stories and pics with - Where I live on the Pacific Northcoast
of the United States - there are few Setters in the area - so when we take
our out - everyone wants to meet them. Post pics of the babies would
love to see.
