My affix is Trunorth, it's not very well known or used. I bred a litter of American Cockers and used it, and I added it to my current boys name, but otherwise it's unknown. It was registered with the KC in May 2003.
I chose it because I live in the…
Oh Arni, I'm so sad for you. I too have a thirteen year old boy born July 96, and I know how special these oldies are. I'm dreading the feeling that I know you have just now.
Remember the good times. xx
Night night and God bless Albert.
I'm so naive, I hadn't noticed the absence of history on these two 'people'.
.
I have deleted Hazel Moore from my friends list though, and I didn't have Lyric Martin anyway.
Thanks for the heads up.
Hi Nicky, with toilet training, I always find that puppies need to go about every hour. On top of that, every time they wake from sleep and each time they has been fed or had a drink. I always actually go with the puppy outside, it gives a chance to…
I try to have a regular brushing routine, I use enzymatic toothpaste, but if I find any tartar build up, I use a dental scaler.
I have American Cockers too, and they seem to get more tartar than the Irish. There is a great deal of satisfaction to c…
Dee, you have done a fabulous job on these babies from what I can see. They are a credit to you. Good luck to you and to all the new Mums and Dads for the years to come.
Wow, so beautiful. Is this a new addition to the Lauwers household?
Classic head, lovely low set ears, great neck, perfect rightangles at both ends and super tail set.
Two Irish Setters and five American Cocker Spaniels too
How long have you owned Irish Setters?
36 years, since Dec 1973.
About Me:
I bought my first Irish in 1973, Bridie was a granddaughter of Sh Ch Wendover Gentleman, her sire being Sh Ch Wendover Herald of Cuprea. I have never been without an Irish in all that time and enjoyed showing, when I was able, in a very small way.
Currently have Bailey who is 13 years old, a Chicago Bear son, and Rory is just on two years old, line bred back to Joshua too.
Thank you for the nice compliments on the blog. I to think that they will be good for their new mums and dads..
All the best and thanks again Dee and the gang
Thanks Dawn, we are very pleased with Beatles, above all he is a great personality and has so much selfconfidence, our joy of daily life. As firstly our dogs are family members then a showdogs. Hope catching with you some day
What would we do with out benylin. Alfie had a sore thought, not eating and was coughing - I took him the vet - consultationin the carpark as they didn't want a suspect KC dog in the practice - well I was relieved it wasn't and the vet said to get some benylin for his sore thought. I was lucky.
Take care, Barb
Hi Dawn
So sorry to hear that Rory has kennel cough. Hope he gets better soon. It's that time of the year when kennel cough rears its ugly head and it's such a same innocent dogs catch it.
All the best.
Barb
Hi Dawn, great to hear from you, how's things going with yours? As you can see I can't live without a setter any longer, I will always love Eva and still miss her terribly but I'm ready and so excited about giving a little boy a home.
Hi Dawn
Lovely to hear from you and I am so pleased that Bailey is responding to his medication well. For 13yrs old he is a remarkable chap and just who loves his walks is more so. Long may he continue to enjoy himself.
So sorry to hear of your loss, I am sure you have loads of happy memories.
Take care and I'll catch you again soon.
Barb
Hi Dawn
I was thinking about your Bailey the other day and wondering how's he's been doing on his medication? I do hope he's alot better and his coat is returning.
Take care, Barb
