- About Me:
- Hi,I am JO I am 35 and live in New Zealand with my husband and 2 children.I work full time as a Corrections Officer and cherish any free time I am able to spend with my family and our dogs. I first fell in love with the Irish Setter when I visited Crufts in 1993.I was not lucky enough to obtain one until 2005 when my husband bought me Danny from the Silmanhurst Kennels as a gift before we emigrated to New Zealand from the UK.Well I was hooked and Kerry followed 2 years later from the Amhurst kennels Australia and Tara 1 year later from the Solasdas kennels in Melbourne. I could not imagine life without one now and that is why my home will never be without the joy and fun of an Irish Setter. Also very much part of the family are Blue a Gordon Setter from the EtSettera kennels here in New Zealand and Fleur from the Triseter kennels in Melbourne. I sparingly show my dogs around children and work committments. I have made some wonderful friends through showing both within NZ and abroad.I love returning to the UK to attend shows and observe some truly stunning Irish Setters.

The Reds love the dam in the front paddock,after the hot days.
Dash is improving daily and Reyne is looking great.

- Many Thanks, Jo. Super win for our Labrador, who was also the Res CC winner at the National.He has only been shown a few times, but never out of the cards, be it here or in Sydney.
Thought Ronnerdahl and Aniara would be too tired after their flight, so decided not to worry about showing them at the Royal. Only arrived home late the night before.
