Been gone too long

I've been out of sinc for a while. Got a new rescue, her name is Roxy. She's a Gordon Setter. OK, we can't all be perfection! Anyway, she's a handful. She's tells us when it's time to go out, time to eat, time to come back in, and time to pet her. And she doesn't take no for an answer!! It was kinda funny at first, but then...she's a sweetie, though. Life's just going on down the road around here. Staying busy and watching the dogs grow up. Ya'll stay right in there.

New customer

Ok, now that I've shipped off my two old girls from foster care I'm ready for another. This Saturday I go to pick up my new foster! She is a 4 year old Gordon that is 99% blind. She is not, however, as big as the Gordons we all think of. She is very small, only about 35 pounds. She is out of the Springset kennel. They say she is wonderful and has hunting championships and that no one can even tell she is blind. Can't wait to get her. Wish me luck.

health problems

Found out the other day that one of my fosters has discospondylosis. So sad. Vet says she has probably 6 months to live. I feel so bad for her. Before I got her the former owner kept both sisters in a run of about 10 x 10. Rarely let them out, and didn't socialize them at all. Now she and her sister get the run of 3 whole acres and get to socialize with all sorts of buddies. When I got them they were scared all the time and very lethargic. Now,since being with me since July, they are happy all… Continue
