Thanks for you all of the sympathy! Still sad but at least I was there and could cuddle him all the time when the moment came. The worst possible situation could been I'd be abroad or at work or someting and he'd have to die alone or while a dog sitter is here. Best possible good bye for the best and most loyal friend.
