Exclusively Setters

Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

So much has changed in the years I have been away from the showring! Know what I like but so unsure where to start and where to find it. Am also quite saddened that there is no longer a Setter Club in Queensland....nobody to catch up with and get advice...and all the history, records etc they held ....all gone. I have also realised hom much junk I have in my garage - can't find my old photo albums and my special memory boxes of my dogs and those all important pedigrees to refresh my memory lols! I am glad this site exists, at least this is a starting point and I look forward to getting to know many more of you. :).

Welcome Dawne. It is a shame about the Setter Club in Queensland. Hopefully in the future a new group can get it going again.

Welcome also, Dawne! ES is like a big setter club for everybody! You'll feel right at home.

Hi Dawne,

Cheryl Gorey from Mackay has tried to get a club running again and has contacted Carolyn Pearen about it but nothing has come of it yet. Carolyn and Annette have a boarding kennel/hydrotherapy/vet practice now and are very busy.

Hope to meet you at the shows.

Cheers,

Carmel

Hi Greg.....remember many of your beautiful Irish from days gone by.....I am heading to Sydney in July and looking forward to making contact with some breeders while I am there. Trying to fit in a trip to Melbourne as well but may not be until August.
