I think it's partying all week from now with fireworks, etc. :-) There are some pagan celebrations too (Samhain) as far as I know. Not that I enjoy hearing the fireworks for a whole week!!

yes, a pagan festival originally from Scotland/Ireland, as far as I know - wouldn't have known that, though, if I wasn't living in Scotland :-))

i did some research years ago why all the americans (jelena, hahaha) and more and more nations are crazy about it. and i found the roots. so i know a bit of the story :-) and no, odin won't be dressed up as a witch and danka as ghost :-)))
