Dear Ruby,

I am writing you this letter today, because I am thinking of you and the good times we had. I can't believe its five years since you died.

You we're my heart's delight: you with your big smile and wagging tail (wagging body!). You were always happy to see me whether it was a good or a bad day.........and then you would talk to me like only a setter can! You were always there; next to the bed, next to the table, in front of the tv or going for a ride in Philadelphia (the old white sporty Honda). We went from there to here to everywhere in that old car......

You would cuddle up next to me and say: "Phil, I really love you so much".

My dear Ruby, I know that you are the happiest dog in doggy-heaven. Enjoy all the fields of flowers and butterflies and a painfree-heavenly-angelic-doggylife.

 

This ode is to you my Rubyblue.

A lovely tribute to Ruby,our beloved Reds leave their pawprints all over our hearts,i still fill up when i hear a certain  Elton John song that reminds me of my first red Gemma and that was over 20 years since shes been gone.

What lovely words for your Ruby Phil.
There's something quite strong in the bond with a much loved fur friend. When they leave us it can leave such a hole in our hearts....but there is always beautiful memories to help heal. Take care x

Oh phil, I'm so sorry. This had me welling up. It is a tough time of year for us both. I hope that Ruby and Eva have met at the bridge and they are running freely together xxx
