To be fair I've taught her that, she doesn't get a treat unless she does something to deserve it (even if small like sitting nicely for a whole 15 seconds!!) so I only have myself to blame that it takes a piece of Liver for her to sit amongst the presents with a ridiculous hat on and not attack the baubles. Actually this was our first christmas tree with Bella (thought it was too high risk last year) and other than one tentative lick at a bauble - yes it was a glittery one that ended up all over her tongue - she left it well alone. Including the gifts under the tree! Which even had food items amongst them!! She surprised even me with her good behaviour.
