How many puppies have gone now? My last puppy went yesterday. So I can concentrate on the one that's staying. Taking her to a puppy class tonight, there aren't any ringcraft classes until September though.

She was a very nervous to start with but was ok towards the end. She was showing herself off!! Hates the down position though!! Setters are always too busy for the 'down' don't you think.

The pups are now 5 weeks old and need lot's of my attention.
Am trying to collate some photo's in my spare time!!??
They are into everything and a delight to watch.

Hope you are all settled back into your routine without the puppies. I'm sure it's very quiet now and your other dogs must be missing them too.

Sorry to hear that Sandra.Hope the trip to the vet does the trick and she is well soon.

I'm sorry to hear about your wee pup. I hope she'll get better soon. Sometimes they just eat things they shouldn't at that age and hopefully it's nothing serious.
At least you'll have lots of time for your other reds now that the puppies have all flown the nest.

Goodness that sounds like a bad reaction to the vaccination, poor puppy! Took my puppy for her first picnic this week, she loved it, not too sure about the cows though.

Hope the little puppy is doing better now and is back on the way to good health. It's always a bit scary at that age.

Yes, if it was the jab that caused the problem it might be better to wait for a bit longer, if that's safe. It's a shame but I'm sure she'll be better in no time. They're sometimes quite resilient those little puppies.

Pups all doing well.They have had their first 2 nights in the outdoor puppy pen,which has made life a lot easier for me!!.
They were 7 weeks Saturday.Start leaving home 17th Aug.Still have 2 males to find homes for.
About to go and give the little munchkins their breakfast.

All the dogs are well thanks. Molly the puppy is enjoying her obedience classes, not sure she is learning anything though!! We are going to Hornsea for a week next week, will be taking the puppy but the others are staying at home with my eldest son. It will be her first trip to the seaside.

Hi Sandra. Never seem to have time to see everyone at the shows and I don't get over often enough! Glad you are going on OK. Good luck with the pups.

Thanks, yes, we're doing fine. Congratulations on the show results. Can't say it's hot here. It's been raining for about a week now! Hope your little puppy is well and doing great in her new home.

Hi Sandra. Travelling to shows is a three day camel ride! The dogs are OK with it but I get very tired. And of course it is VERY expensive. We enjoy the shows in Ireland though and are having great fun with our two Greyhounds. Miss the English shows but NI is a very nice place to live. Regards Rachel

We don't race the greyhounds they are show greyhounds which are bigger than the racers. Ireland is beautiful and the shows down South are really good fun. Mostly the judge are from overseas so you get a different perspective sometimes.

Congratulations on your results! Just got back from a weeks holiday in Hornsea, weather was terrible, just two sunny days and lots of rain!!! Could only take the puppy as we were staying in my mother-in-laws caravan. She enjoyed it though.

The other dogs don't mind being left at home with my older kids, they much prefer it than going into kennels. If it was our own caravan we could have taken more than one. Brought them all some chews back.

I was thinking of entering the pup in a dog show in October she will only be 6 months and 4 days. Do you think I will have to trim her, she doesn't have much coat at the moment.

It has been a hectic time here.We have had cold damp weather for the pst 3 weeks and more SNOW.To top all that off we had a pipe block in the back yard and the water all back filled into my dogs yards!!
So have been up to our eyeballs in mud!!
Have felt like running away from home a few times!!!
Of course the pups and dogs don't mind a bit of a play in the mud,!!
3 pups have gone to their new owners and another leaves today.
So the clan is dwindling slowly.
I am running on a dog and bitch as this litter combines my 2 foundation bitch's pedigree's (exciting)
Am about to go and feed breaky to the pups so will keep moving.
