Hi Sandra, congratulations for your great results at the show. Well done. We won't be going to a show until the autumn; we had a sort of a summer break :-)
Yes, we have a lot of places for good walks around here; parks, beaches and woodland - so it doesn't really get boring. You just need that with setters. They are never happier than when they can stretch their legs.

Hi Sandra

Down to 6 puppies now.
Another leaves tomorrow.Life is much simpler with less to look after.
We have puppy pre school here.It is run at most vet clinics.
It is more to socialize puppies.
I normally do all that myself with my puppies that I keep.
We go into town and walk around getting used to all different things.
I also have them in the front yard and they get used to people and traffic going past.
Will update my photo's in the next few days.
Just been a bit hectic this week.

Hi! i'm Rui de Carvalho, from Portugal.
Yours setters are so gorgeous. Congratulations!
The Irish are my dreams! It isn't rational, I consider all themes irresistible. I've a Irish One.
He's a beauty Irish setter male from Porto Rio - Portugal, of Pedro Completo Breeder. He’s Ch Portugal, Spain and Gibraltar, but I don't understand anything about expositions.
Mother’s Thendara Joy Ride (also brother of Thendadra Don Corleone) and is Father's Laumidorn Innuendo. Grand Father’s Thendara Kennedy.

Hi Sandra,
How's the new computer going??
We have had more rain here! Shouldn't complain but I am OVER it now!!
I want some sunshine for my babies to play in!!.
Still have 2 boys to place,
I am about to go and give them brekky, then have a busy day ahead with a couple of appointments in Ballarat and taking a jacket to my girlfriend to make a couple of alterations on for me.
All is well here (except the mud!!
Have started clipping and grooming ready for the Melbourne Royal Show 21st September is Irish Day.
We have no shows until then,so a bit of a break for all with a few weekends to ourselves (nice).

Hi Sandra,
Well done at the show.
I am not showing now till 21st Sept.Thats Irish day at the Royal Melbourne Show.
I am trying to catch up with all my emails etc this morning. The pups are having a play in the backyard with mum.The older dogs are all lazing around in the house,(where they prefer to be!!)
Ashley must be having a good time in OZ.
The weather is very warm up north were he is.
Your only young once so he is making the most of it.Good for him.

Hi Sandra,
The weather's been reasonably Ok for the last few days - luckily. But it's been so wet all of August. Just hoping for a nice and dry autumn! It's great you got yourself a laptop. They're so handy.
I'm sure your setters will remember your son when he comes back. They might have to do a double-take but then they'll remember.

Hi Sandra,
Yes, this summer has been awful weatherwise and it doesn't look as if it's going to get better in autumn either. Would be nice to get a few sunny days for nice photographs at least!

hi sandra,
I am going to Newark on Sat and then the ISAE open show . All puppies gone to their new homes apart from my 2, what did you keep? One girl who got a bitch from Newcastle took her to a companion show and won Baby puppy under 6 mths and BP and Prettiest bitch, she was over the moon which was nice, you can see photos of my 2 hooligans on my page.

Hi Sandra
Just got back from taking the dogs on the moors, it was low cloud so couldn't see a thing!! I've got Molly entered in her first dog show in October when she will be 6 months old. Haven't heard anything back from them though, don't you get a pass or anything before the show?
Regards, Deborah

Hi Sandra,
I think they've been making changes to the layout on here - or at least that's what it looks like to me and I had trouble accessing the site recently too but it should be ok again now. If you keep encountering problems and you think it has nothing to do with your connection or your computer then it might be a solution to contact Gene, who set up the forum.
Hope you'll be able to read this!
All the best,
Nicole

Hi Sandra
She's doing really well, thanks. I can't get your video to run, I can't get my videos downloaded onto my computer either!! It must be a problem with my computer.
Just taken them all the moors and it is very very muddy!! Isn't autumn and winter just great here!!
Hope you are all well.

Hi Sandra,
Didn't have a good show this year.I fell in the ring with my young dog and caught him on the back as I went down and put his back out!!
Then my up and coming little girl went lame??Have no idea what she did but by the afternoon she was fine again!!
Had a great day promoting our breed to the public though.
My knee is still really playing up from the fall.
Might be getting to old for all this running around!!
Had lovely weather here for a few days but back to freezing cold, rain. wind and hail! Supposed to clear for weekend and be 28 by Sunday.
Have 2 shows this weekend both only half hour from home, which makes life easier.
My last baby leaves 23rd October for Noumea,so will then get on with some training for my own dogs.Have been very busy at work the last couple of weeks.Coming into summer so everyone wants their dogs clipped off yesterday??
Went to a small country show Wednesday and Skye went BOB and Posh Best Baby Gundog.Had alovely day with glorious sunshine the whole day.So well worth the day off work.
Will look at your pics and video this morning.
Cheers Marie

Hi sandra,
We have had some nice weather here but changed again Monday to freezing cold. The weekend is supposed to be really hot again. That's spring time in Victoria for you.Still no rain though which is a worry.
Where is Ash now?? My Grandson and son in law are working up in Darwin and it is very hot there.
Had a lovely win with my 20 month old Reyne at the weekend, she took bitch CC and RUBOB,very exciting.
She catch's the eye on the move.Hopefully it is a sign of things to come??
Last baby goes this time next week, will be on the road to the airport at this time.
The Vic Canine Ass.have lots of talks and lectures but it is to far for me to travel at night,so don't get to go to any.
hope all is well with you

Hi Sandra,
Had a very emotinal day yesterday.Last puppy is now in transit to her new home.Dropped her at pet carriers at 10am and then had to wait till 5.30 for news she had completed first stage of her trip, she is boarding in Sydney overnight and flies to Noumea this morning.
Wont be able to rest until I know she is safely at her final destination.
Babies went well at their show debut, strutted around like they had been doing it for years.
Off to 2 shows this weekend,if I can get the energy to get the dogs ready??
I am feeling drained this week!!
First show is a 3 hour trip and 2nd 2i/2hours.Will see how I go with the preperation!!.
Having fine weather here again but has been very cold at night and in the morning. No rain though,so things are not looking good.we are already very dusty here where the ground is so dry!!
A nightmare with the dogs coats!! I am getting the dog yards redone in November and putting a fine sand down that packs down like concrete, will stop the dust and hopefully the mud next winter!!
I did have them on grass but because there has been very little rainfall it all died.!!
How is Ash??? He must really be enjoying Oz.
Do you have any shows this weekend??
Time for puppies breakfast so will say cheerio for today.
Marie.

Hi Sandra
The older dogs are feeling the cold weather now, its a bit of a push and shove for the dog basket next to the radiator when they get back from their walk. I noticed Daisy my english setter limping a bit this morning, probably feeling the cold as much as me!!!
Hope you are all well.
Regards, Deborah
