Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
So what happened to that eye then? I know a springer who had his eye taken out after it was attacked by the owners cat as a puppy.
Oh you poor poor boy,how can anyone be so cruel,i hope hes found a forever loving home home with you Stevie
Well, I'm doing my best, Currently on hols in Cornwall and everything is so new and exciting, So far have let him off the lead only three times, don't want to lose him ! Have put loads of photos on Facebook and more to go on.
Would love to hear a bit more about how he came to live with you and settled in when you've more time.Enjoy your holiday
I've always been potty over setters and having lost my last dog in May, when I was at the Dogs' Trust Open Day this year, I'd had enough, - there were dogs everywhere, so I went round the stalls asking if anyone had an English Setter. At the Blind Dog Rescue UK stall, I asked, and the rest is history. (http://blinddogrescueuk) Amazing charity set up by Catherine who seems to fund most of it herself.
Oh poor soul. I am sooooo glad he is with you in a loving home now. Give him a cuddle from me please.
No problem, . . he's just like a baby and although 1 year olf, can pick him up !! Not sure if he may grow. Watch this space, . . . .
Oh no!! how people can be so horrible!! I am so glad he found love, home and care !! I am sure he will cope with just one eye, his mum is going to guide him in the world now :)) happy ending, lovely little thing..
