:-)) Since when did 12km tire a setter ...? Our daily walk is 7-8km in 1,5 hours, including a hill - 12km is only 1 hour more and probably considered an afternoon stroll in setter terms :-))). Still - Glen looks very happy and I'm sure you all had a wonderful time - the photos are great!!

Quite right, Cornelia... Maybe I should have mentioned 1km height difference & pulling 70kg all the way up the mountain... ;-))
Ahh - now you're talking!! I hope he did not pull all the way down as well :-))) - lucky you, there was no fog that day!

Luckily he could run free on the way down. Not Reba though, and even she can pull despite her tiny size! Erin on the other hand is qute managable now she is heading for 9 years of age. So there is hope yet!
Well - Joy is only tired on such a walk if it is quite hot outside - or maybe now, that she has a bit too much weight!! - she never has to pull 70kg though :-)) - even with a 10kg backpack, I don't manage to get the scale down... - good old Erin!! Give her a kiss xxx - tell her, her 30kg 'Power Bundle' of a daughter does a great job on the way down herself and is very managable if need be :-)) - the genes she got from her are just wonderful!! So thanks a lot :-))
