RESCUE WALK - SUNDAY 1st MAY 2011
Once again it's time for our Annual Sponsored Walk in aid of Irish Setter Rescue.
This year it is on SUNDAY 1st MAY and as always is in MATLOCK, DERBYSHIRE, starting at Treetops, Steve Lennox's home. He has very generously allowed us to use his home and garden for this event.
It is a circular walk through the beautiful Derbyshire countryside of approximately 4 1/2 miles, starting and ending at Treetops, with much needed refreshments served in the garden at the end.
The walk starts at 2 pm, so walkers do not need to arrive before 1.45 pm.
All breeds are welcome so long as they are fully vaccinated and sociable with other dogs. We do not recommend this walk for dogs under the age of 12 months.
It's a fun day out and last year we raised £2,403.27!! This is our highest amount to date. If you would like to join us for this year's walk, either e-mail me: hooley1@virginmedia.com and I will send you a sponsor form and directions, or go to www.bardonhill.com where you can download the sponsor form and the directions.
If you can't join us, but would like to make a donation to this very worthy cause, please e-mail me and I will give you the details of where to send it.
Photos of last year's walk can be seen on my web site:

Hope to see some of you there!!!!!
