my 7 month Achilies has that  yellowish fur on the side of his chest and legs. will that fall way or stay there. his fur on the spine is red. so I happy about that. I give him brushing with one of those brushes like this

I would have to agree with Michelle. The stone works great, and doesn't scratch through to the skin like a Furminator can.
Only on one of my dogs. The Furminator went straight through the coat and grazed her skin :(
thanks to all. I didnt get the furminator only because when I saw it first it looked as if it would cut the newly grown coat, and not actually remove the soft and dead fur. but I will try it and see how it goes.

I love it that he has the soft fur, all the new one that is comming out is much stronger and not wooly. but the look of it is not as good, since you have a colourful puppy ruther than a red setter.

THe pup doesnt like it when I brush him, it takes a while to put him sit-stay-down and lie him down and then brush him.
