HELP! We need a good home for our Marlo for 3 weeks in May or A Dog-sitter to come to Verbier!

We are going to Peru in May for 3 weeks and our baby Marlo can't come.

We went to a kennel yesterday near Geneva which had cages inside where the dogs sleep and a small garden area outside where they are let out only if its sunny, dogs don't get taken for walks and there is no human contact except when they get fed twice a day. It's literally a prison. The dogs were barking all the time and our Marlo who is usually happy, wagging his tail, and smiling just stood there salivating and looking at me as if to say "you are not serious" - and no we are not going to send our beautiful baby to any cage.

If you or someone you know breeds Irish setters and doesn't mind taking on another setter for 3 weeks please let me know asap. We are in Valais, Switzerland but we'd be happy to drive him to other parts of Switzerland. Otherwise if you have an Irish setter and want to come to Verbier with your dog for 3 weeks in May to House and dogsit and get away from it all. Our place is an alpine chalet style ground floor 2 br apartment (65 sqm) with a garden overlooking a stunning mountain vista at 1600m near forests, hiking and 10 mins walk from shops, restaurants in the centre of Verbier. There's undercover parking, high speed internet, printer, desk and all ammenities. Ideal for writer or someone who works remotely.

Marlo is the cuddliest dog you ever met, which earned him the nickname "Snuggy". He is an inside dog, he loves people and needs people contact, he likes to sleep on the couch and loves to go for walks. He's 14 months old, has all the vaccinations, is not castrated, knows a lot of tricks like shake paws, sit, drop, lye on the floor, stay, and he's learning how to roll (still working on that one). He loves stealing socks and hiding them under the table! Other than that he's very good and obedient.

He eats Nutro Choice and we'd provide all the food and toys and anything else you need.
