This time of year where we live, I need to be very careful, because there are some seeds that enter the dogs' ear canal. Every week, I get my dogs ears checked up and most of the times we get one or two seeds out. Last Tuesday we went to the vet to get the seeds out, and for the first time, there was blood attached to one of the seeds we took uout of Romã's ear. The vet told me to wacth it ery carefully, and so I did, but still today there was pus all over my girls face, so i rushed back to the vet. The outcome was a ruptured tympanum.
The vet told me she could stop listening from that ear so I'm a bit upset right now
Has anyone ever had a dog with a ruptured tympanum? How did you treat it and what was the outcome?
thanks
