I am reading all your letters – thank you very much. Since Amber still on a leash outside and I am not a runner at all, I see the point. My son usually takes her for longer walk when he comes home from school. When I come usually it is dark. Yesterday I went to pick up my daughter from school – it was a bit after five, I took Amber with me. We drove to school and then went for a little walk/run before I picked up my daughter. Amber was a changed girl after that – much quieter. I think all her stealing (socks, shoes, Kleenex tissues) it’s to get some more attention to herself. She is getting better.
Also I need to talk again to my dad (who watches her during the most days) not play rough with her and not to let her bite him. Also slow my son a little too with rough playing. And to end a message I want to say – Amber is very smart and she loves us back.
Hi Inna and All

Glad that a little walk helped Amber so much!

We have one VERY important rule at our house -
If it is on the floor or at a level the puppy can get to
then it is THEIRS!

You can't fault your pup for running with your socks shoes clothes etc when they can grab them so easily.

I learned this lesson the hard way after losing some VERY expensive shoes and boots to some of our pups.
Also - for some reason Pups also love remotes :)

If you want to keep something away from the puppies lock it in a drawer or cabinet. At least it is safe til they learn how to open doors or drawers. And, yes we have a pup out of pam and my last litter that learned how to do that :) Hopefully none of these kids will learn that trick :)
Hey Kim ~

Its very funny you should mention remotes! While Joss doesnt have an interest in gnawing them that I've seen he does like to knock them off of the table. He took out my moms TV remote the first week he was home - which mean the tech savy daughter (moi) had to reprogram the new one. I foresee a day very soon that the ol'Irish tail wag will be swooshing remotes off our table too - and drinks, coasters, small island nations, etc etc.
