Here I go with my lovely birthday present Nikon Macro 105 lense. Laid in the damp grass with my girls dancing around me thinking its fun. Never tried this before - comments appreciated!

Hi Maggie, I like your first tries with your new lens!! The ISO on 320 is quite good in overcast weather; I use that very often - I would not use the on camera flash however, until you master the manual setting, because on AUTO you can not controll the amount of flash and then most photos are too bright and you can see a colour change. I will soon put up a blog about M versus A and also about fill flash - so we can exchange our experience there. Keep up the nice photos :-)), Cornelia

Btw. photos are maybe better discussed here; they tend to get lost on the general page, especially with the comments 'back to front':

    Hi Cornelia

I just noticed your invite to join this group. Thank you. I have always had a big interest in photographing animals. Unfortunately photography seems to fall in the same area as my writing .. I never seem to be able to find the time, except to take photos and then use the Adobe Auto Smart Fix! This group might inspire me to do more.
