About Me:: I am 43, live in Slovenia. By profession I am an accountant. I've had Irish since 1981. I've done obedience, agility and field work with them. I am most interested in showing. I only breed occasionaly. I am also a judge (confirmation) at international level for FCI groups VII, VIII, IX and X.

Alenka, I have checked with the editor of the Kennelclub magazine regarding the X-rays and the type of sedation used. He said (as I remembered as well) that there was an article discussion two different types of sedation but knows nothing about any survey done or due to be published during the summer. As the magazine is so closly linked to the kennelclub, he should know. So no luck I am afraid.

Hola Alenka I tried to put some result from the world Dog shoe Mexico but I didn´t fine where could write it.
The BOB Saturday adn Sonday was one of my Dog "Harley" and the best Irish Setter Puppie from 6 to 9 months was Parley My Puppie, she won first in group 4th days. On Sunday Sienna won BOS, she is from Wendy Czarneki

Hi Alenka,
forgot to respond to the comment you left in my blog about double CACIB in Debrecen. There was a clubshow in hungary last year where you could see my Sarah, but you must have been very busy while judging English and Gordon in the neighbouring ring :)
Anyway, you've made an excellent choise of dog for your Pika, I also like Persuader very much. My choosen one for my Sarah is his son Caskeys Concept, our litter planned about the end of next year. Will send you photos of Persuader if you like, as I took some of him at the Gundog of Wales last month while I was over in England.

Congratulations to you for your latest win it seems that it has been a good weekend for most of us on this site, There are pictures I think. They will be posted on the U.K and Ireland website The judge that gave us the last Green Star was the webmaster for that site (Collin Waddell) I think that he is a very nice man. I will endeavor to get some pictures transferred but at this moment in time I don't know how, a wee bit of a technophobe. Thanks for the comment it was very nice Dee and the girls

Thank you Alenka - it isn't easy as we only have three Championship shows a year and our Gundog Group is very strong! He is only 4 so still maturing but has had an amazing track record and has won Channel Islands Dog of the Year twice and runner up once! (The Channel Islands version of Crufts with dogs having to qualify for it the previous year)
You seem to be doing well too - well done

Hi Alenka. Tom don't have microchip. We checked that already. Also our problem is, that we only know year when he was imported to country. Through this web-site we got to know some Irish setter owner in Holland also and he promised to help, but with information which we have in hand, it's quite difficult.

By the way, I checked also your pictures. So beautiful they are. We just met one trainer here and we plan to keep one Emily's puppy and train to shows. Let's see in few years how it goes. I should just study little bit more about the terms and issue related to dog shows. Thanks for your kind and supportive comments.

Hi Alenka, unfortunately many italian "judge" not understand a show type of irish setter... and in that mode I don't like to present my dog at many shows...
