About Me:: WW'03 EUVW'08 Ch C.I.E. Berboss Instant Coffee (1996-2010) - for me just Odin - was my first setter, she left me 2nd January 2010 after 13 years of friendship. Odin was my all and everything, my best friend in good and bad times. She taught me so much about canine intelligence and behaviour, about love and loyalty. She was purchased for being a normal dog but very soon I got bitten by the show bug. She was a real show girl and compensated my faults in the show ring :) It was her soft character and look-at-me attitude that charmed all people meeting her, friends, strangers and even judges. Thank you Odin for sharing your life with me!

After much thinking I decided to get another girl and doing some research, I ended up in Sweden. This is how Danka - MultiCh C.I.E. C.I.B. Copper's Music 'N' Paws' - came to live with us in 2005. And yes, she taught me new things about canine behaviour :) Through her I was able to get to know the naughty and the run-run-run side of the Irish Setter. She is referred to as 'crazy Danka' by the setter club, hm, does it say it all? So different from Odin, but oh so lovable as well. A real clown, adoring kids, loving dog shows and having so much fun in the fields. Having 13 champion titles and being the first setter to qualify in the field on a Hungarian field trial and gaining CIB by this. Very intelligent, observant and empathetic. Thanks Danka for being with me, love you girl!

And then Neita - Full CH Copper's Wine 'N' Roses HJCH RJCH - arrived. Still cannot decide if she has more angel or devil inside her. She is the sweetest, wants to be close to you all the time, would love to crawl under your skin if that would be possible. Everyone is in love with her because of her beauty and character - bet if I would give her away, people would want to give her back the day after :) She is the destroyer in the house, eats sofas and doors but when she looks at you with those eyes, you just can't be angry on her (for a longer time that is...). She is a big actress as well, pretending to be a real blond - was hard to realize that actually she has brains and a lot! Unbeaten in baby-puppy-junior classes, we look forward to challenges in adult classes. Neita is a talent in the fields as well, already managed to get a CQN just one year old. She backs from the first second on and does not point but sets like a real setter :-)

Pawsword Northern Song, little Zilou - the one I know from the first second on, being Danka's daughter. The one that unites all the positive virtues of Irish Setters without having a bad detail. She has only been shown in baby and puppy class because of big sister Neita. Zilou is getting better with every day and seems to develop into a copy-paste of Danka. The best character ever, the best working abilities. The girl that makes me smile with every move she makes. Love you so much, little girl!

Nikita schon, aber bei der Championklasse ist mir ganz leicht das Gesicht eingeschlafen. Die Richterin war nicht gerade ein Freund von kleinen Hunden, aber beide Hündinnen vor mir, war dann doch ein bischen zu viel. Man solle auf seinen Bauch hören, ich hab während der Ausstellung gedacht, ich lass Anu vielleicht draussen, wäre die besserer Entscheidung gewesen, dann hätte ich mir ein V3 hinter den beiden erspart. Aber nachher ist man immer schlauer, bin aber ganz stolz auf Nikita und mich auch ein bischen, war erst unserer zweite Show zusammen und jedesmal ein recht gutes Ergebniss:-)) Hoffe bei Euch ist alles gut. da kann man nur staunen, besonders, wenn man bedenkt, dass er die Hündin im Ehrenring hinter sich hergeschliffen hat.
Schönheit liegt im Auge des Betrachters oder halt an anderen Dingen:-))
Beim nächsten mal wird es sicher wieder besser laufen.

Hi Laura,
as you are the setter results enciclopedia I send you the results/correct/ from Klagenfurt,as I have read them on the blog which was not right!
I was there with Red and Celi.They were both Cac in working class,Red was Cacib;for Celi The Judge came to me and said reserve,but in my car I realised she was not.Who was R.Cacib by females I do not know,Red was Bos,Bob was Alina with Johnny.
Both of my dogs have finished their sixth championate by these wins and became Austian champions as well.
In the Bis ring they were best brace all breeds.Go to the Klagenfurt blog and read my comment please!

The light at that time is beautiful!! Does it get dark near 8pm in Hungary in summer? Like New York? I always found that strange in summer but we are at different lattitudes in the world!!!! :o))

akkor ősszel megcsináljátok a munkavizsgát?
andynek sem volt még baja semmilyen büdös, koszos víztől(kopp-kopp-kopp), de jó lenne, ha nem is lenne ezútán sem, mert nincs kedvem orvoshoz járni. most ugrottam bele megint egy toklászos 7000 forintba - és meg sem lett.

Ti legalább megkaptátok a kitűnőt, én a Forcsival megkaptam nála élete eddig egyetlen nagyon jó minősítését, rossz mozgás és rossz hátvonal miatt. Ezek szerintem rá sem igazán jellemzőek, de hát ha ő így látja....

Das tut mir leid mit der Ausstellung.. aber das gibt es halt immer wieder mal - never mind... es gibt ja wieder andere Ausstellungen und andere Richter :-) Hoffe, Dein neuer Job gefällt Dir gut. Ist es in derselben Firma aber in einer anderen Abteilung?

I think that every morning I wake up and realise that she didn't have them during the night, be she is sleeping so soundly at the moment. I think that she will explode that is how she is going to have them....new method of child/puppy birth... Thanks for the comment though

Believe me it is joke or go mad, hey I think that I have achieved both...wow congratulations to me. They are coming in their white coats now to take me, I think that she has finally started to have the puppies, she is at the steam train impersonation bit at the moment, ALL NIGHT...so that is three nights without sleep. I have now decided that I am too old for all of this, funny how hindsight is always good... All the best Dee and the girls..;o))

Jo jag vet...inget namn att kalla fölet! Fruktansvärt! men hon är inte min så jag har inte så mycket att säga till om (alla namn jag har kommit med har givetvis varit helt FEL...).
Men i dag så fick hon sitt rätta officiella namn = Not Fade Away som liksom hänger ihop med Ivys officiella namn Fade To Grey.

Stor skillnad mella hund och häst-utställning...du kan (märkligt nog) bara ställa ut fölet EN gång! Blev det inte bra så går det liksom inte att ändra eller åka till annan domare...så en engångsföreteelse kan jag stå ut med. Och så glassar jag bara lite..tar lite bilder och glider runt som en lyxlirare...:-)
