    Hi Jennifer
Welcome to the site. How many English do you have. I've only got one but have had them for 26 years. Whereabouts in England do you live?
    All the best, Deborah
  • Deborah Christopher

Hi, the Great Dane is my husbands dog, well he used to be!!! I would never had contemplated having one as I thought they would take up too much room, but he doesn't really. He's a bit dopey but an excellent guard dog and very loyal to his family. His feet stink though!! :-) We live in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
  • Dee Rance

Hi there took the last comment off but the sentiment is still the same!!!! How are you doing now??? better I hope are you going to Dundee?? may see you there. Will try and get some info from you as to how to put some pictures on this site, am fed up being a blank face. Dee and the girls

    Hi Jennifer
Lovely pictures of your dogs. I've had English for 26 years but never had an orange, he looks cleaner than mine!!
  • Dee Rance

No don't have anything until the Association so will not be up and down the country as I have been in the past 5 or 6 years might get some money in the bank...ha ha....will see you at Dundee and as I said you can give me some tips on how to get some pictures on line. See you there Dee and the girls
  • James Martin's

    Hi!
It´s a wonderful and a gorgeous female English setter.
  • James Martin's

The Irish are my dreams! It isn’t rational, I consider all themes irresistible.
    Congratulation, for some beautiful setters.
  • Deborah Christopher

Hi Jennifer, they certainly are. They make me smile and fill me with joy, even when they are running off with the washing!
  • Dee Rance

    Hi there Jennifer,
Yes it was a great day were you there for the group judging?? Jas got G4 so we were really pleased, it was a huge group, 20 something in it. It was nice to see you both there, and don't worry about the ''entertainment value'' we have all been there some of us are still going there. Dave and Betty Laidlaw's older boy was just as bad, in a slightly differnt way, we used to say when we saw they were at a show ''well there will be a laugh at this show Davey and Mac are here'' and as for Saffy well she is still a nightmare..
BUT there is one thing that you must address and it needs doing soon, Riley must be put in his place, he is taking the pi** out of you, I will comment on this via the little envelope at the top of the page........ How did your pup enjoy the day do you think??? she was talking to Davey and Betty's pup the last time I looked. she will be in the ring with her, and unfortunately many many others, there are a lot of babies going to be out at the same time,
Speak soon Dee and the girls (they aren't monsters they just have attitude, and lots of it)
  • Linda Andreu

    Hello!

I said hello to your lovely Millie (and you!) at Dundee. How nice to find some of the people I saw there on here! I have Tilly, who is Hilda Stephenson's pup from Rosie's second litter, and Tara my older girl who is not shown. I am hoping to show Tilly but Dundee was the first show I have ever attended so I am an absolute beginner! Maybe we will see you again, I think Perthshire CC will be our first outing as Tilly won't be old enough for Alva. (Just misses out by three days!) I'm sure you won't have the monopoly on being publicly humiliated once we start!

    Linda xx

    Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for joining Setters in Scotland! I have to confess I needed to look up the map to see where Cullen was, shame on me! I was born in Methlick!

    Linda xx
  • Linda Andreu

Methlick is a bit farther SE of you then, nearer Aberdeen. My family used to live in Mosstodloch though, and one of my best friends currently lives in Craigellachie, so I have been in the Morayshire area before - it's beautiful. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your favourite walks if you have time.
  • Judi Schuerman

I enjoy your photos! Such variety and a great story of a dog's life!
  • Fernando Abrantes

Hi there Jennifer, how are you now, someone said that you weren't too good for a while there, are you going to enter the Scotish I.S.C's Open show??? Dee and the girls
  • Dee Rance

    Hi there Jennifer,
How late were you in the entry. If it is only a few days always put an entry in the chances are that you will be able to enter. I am always entering late, and so far have never had an entry refused, well not so far anyway, will you still be coming down just to look???? I hope so, not sure what the entry is like but I do know that there is only 2 in Minor Puppy Dog, don't ask me how I know!!!!
All the best Dee and the girls
  • Dee Rance

    Hi there Jennifer,
Hope that the appointments go well for you, we were at Richmond on Sunday, Saffy got a very nice 2nd in graduate, Jas however only got a 5th (Very Highly Condemned) but hey you can't win them all!!! Are you going to Alva??? hope to see you there, and you can bring the 'baby' See/speak to you soon Dee and the girls
  • Lynn Spencer

Thanks Jennifer. Yes, the Irish/English combination has worked out wonderfully well for us. My two girls are the same age, both 6. We got them as baby puppies together and they've been inseperable ever since. They're so good and quiet & are just a joy to live with. Love your photo's too, and yes, I'm sure my girls would love your boys too xxx.

We were at Perthshire show today and I just realised I haven't seen you and your dogs for ages. I suppose I haven't been doing so many shows so maybe we're just doing different ones. I hope you, your boys and your little girl are well. Best wishes to you all.
