Absolutely dedicated to the breed, along with English Setters.
Born in England, I moved to Australia as a child, and in my teens started importing Irish Setters from Wendover Kennels, and English Setters from Suntop Kennels. My latest Irish imports in 2004, 2009 and another in 2013 are all from the beautiful Copper's Kennel in Sweden.
I am a qualified Championship Judge for All Gundogs and the Non Sporting Group, and an Open Show Judge for all Toys, Terriers and Hounds.
My judging takes me all over the world, something I enjoy immensely.
Hello Myra!
Thank you for your nice comment of our "Balthazar" Coppers Art of Bubbles, we are very proud of him and he was placed in the Best of Top 20 lists of setters in Sweden. We only attended 6 shows last year because we were building the house. We will have lots of job with the garden this year, but hopefully there will be time for Dog shows too.

Thanks for your comment about the yearbook. We don't have seen the yearbook till now because somebody collected all yearbooks for members in Holland and Belgium. End of next week we will have it. We are always very close to be a winner but not till now, perhaps this time !
Many thanks for your kind wishes on my birthday, I am 21 again haha.... We have alittle girl she is almost 8 months old and we call her Sally, she is gorgeous. She is out of the Reddins Magiconkers. We have had red setters in the past and one of them if I remember right was from a person called Rhodes and it was from a Wendover lines . Once again many thanks for the kind wishes . many thanks and kindest regards

Thank you for your welcome to the site. My puppy is a Drumwhaur Heart of Gold (Dam) and Thendara Krammer (sire) and her KC name is Drumwhaur Good as Gold, although we willhave to wait and see on that one! The breeder is my friend here in Perthshire Scotland.
By the way my sister and family live inBrisbane Australia.
Hello Myra, My parents lived in the Blue Mountains for 27 years so Australia is second home to me. I also have an Australian publisher in Sydney, LIttle Hare. I work under a pseudonym Anna Nilsen so you can visit my website. Are Setters not our children?!
I rescued Kimba a year ago with malnutrition after spending most of her life locked in a garage. She has now put on 10 kilos but has intestinal lesions so will always have health problems but she is a dear and doing well for being neglected and abused. Love yours!
Thanks for the welome.
Andrea
Hello Myra,
Sadly my Dad died well over a decade ago and I had to rescue my Mum from living alone in the bush which when you can't drive anymore is well nigh impossible. She now lives with me in UK. It will be a while before I can get back to Australia but one day I will and travel more than I did when my parents were there.
The sad thing with Kimba is that these people could and should have returned her to Maddy her very good breeder, a year before they did. She cowered when she first came so she had obviously been beaten and went round and round in manic circles, an indicator of how much she had been confined. They still have a dog! Very worrying. I'm off north for a week.
Best wishes, Andrea
thanks Myra for your comment on Danka-girl! (she was said to have a too short muzzle...??? :-))) always thought she had the longest-leanest head in hungary :-)) )
Thanks Myra....for your nice comments...hope you are all well down there...I expect you are hunkering down for the winter...does it get very cold..???? Take care...Sammi et al..x
Thanks Myra, I am having a relaxing day. Just been sitting out watching the dogs run around the yard on this lovely fresh morning. What a way to start the day! cheers
I see it was pretty cold down south too! We were supposed to drop to 8 overnight, but I don't think it got that cold. Up to 20 today, so just a beautiful day.
Myra, babies are doing fine now although we have had problems with one girl, born as the last one. She wasn't almost moving and she did not want to eat. She just didn't have a strenght to find her mother's nippel. We've tried everything to make her feel better but without any results... She couldn't even take the nippel to her mouth, she didn't drink the substitute milk from the small bottle. Just NOTHING...Finally, close to midnight. I have madethe critical decision to take her to vetarinarian and put her to eternal sleep. I just couldn't wait till morning to see her body without the life...
I was in despair.
At the veterinarian there was a nice VET doctor who cheered me up and said that we will try to "turn her back to normal life". She gave my little girl a glucose drip, warm glucose to drink and put her on the bottle with hat wather, wrapping up with blanket. She toled me that the puppy is cooled (she was born without an amniotic sac) and as log as she will not be warmed up she will not eat. While I was driving back home I was crying (this time I have a shade of hope) and I toled to my little girl, that if she will survive she will stay with us for ever. AND..
...
...now she is one of the strongest among the all our puppies. She has been give a bright green ribbon as a symbol of hope (green is the hope colour). Her name is Ginger. There she is:
Thanks for a hint. Gosh, Edna Everage is a very intriguing person!!! That must have been great party:)))
I like very much "Adventures of Priscilla; Queen of the Desert" - fine film about drag queens with extraordinary dresses and wigs!!!
