Thanks for the invitation and very happy to become your ES friend! Great to see some pictures already ... Are they all from beautiful and handsome Clyde?
Gail, I understand very well your sorrow as I have lost my boy of almost 14 (minus 3 weeks) in May last year and I am still crying over him. I joined this site after his departure and it has helped me a lot. Not a quick process though and I still cannnot find the courage to put all the pictures of my boy, for the moment he is only represented as a pup.... as if I cannot accept the idea of his departure.
On this site, there is a lot of fantastic setters owners from Australia. I know Australia is a very big country but with a bit of luck you may find an ES member near your home?
I love to see all the pictures of those wonderful dogs, it definitively does help me and I really hope you will very soon find some great support near by to help you.
Have only just seen your comment on my page,by chance! For some reason it didn't imform me that there was a message there. Anyway, many thanks for you lovely words, and very pleased to hear Clyde is home. That will help you feel much better, having him close by again.
Sunday was lovely seeing you all again, after all these years. You are welcome anytime.
I was just reading your page and I am so sorry for your loss of Clyde. They are so special and we miss them so much. I hope you don't have to wait too long to have another special Irish to love.

Thanks for the invite Gail, very happy to join you as a friend on ES! I love all your photos of Finnigan, he looks like he's settled in very quickly....they do love to stretch out on the sofa don't they? I see that you've adopted him, where did you get him from? I'm hoping to adopt my next setter. I think I need to get Nula past the "mad puppy" stage first tho just to keep the peace, lol. Keep taking photos.....
Hi Gail, thansk for the friend request. I have just left a quick comment on Malcolm's page. My boy Clancy may be a relative of your boy, Finnegan as Clancy's dad is an Amhurst boy.
All the best with Finnegan. I just love your video of him. Sounds like he is a laid back boy!
