    Welcome to the Setter family, be patient his hair will grow . Feathering on his legs will start to appear at about 5months but most of the rest will take a good year and maybe longer depends on how quickly he matures. Take care and have lots of fun with your new little fella. Let me encourage you setters are easy to train ours have always been, ie look at the photos of them waiting for my command with their biscuit on their paw.
