Sorry Lesley I didn't make myself very clear.  What I meant was who is the sire and dam of Rigsby?  Good that you are waiting until he is a bit more mature, a lot of people who are new to showing get their puppy in the ring at 6 months, are up against experienced people and then stop showing as they are disheartened that they are not winning just when the puppy is starting to mature and get the hang of it.  Good luck

I believe you were also asking about trimming.  When I started the breeder of my dog showed me what to do and let me practice on her dogs (the ones who wasn't going in the ring for a while)!  Also there is a good DVD about trimming that Dee Milligan-Bott has produced and some pictures and advice in the book written by Eve Gardner all of which might help
