We also have a German Shepherd called Max - who is becoming "a Grumpy Old Man" he's 8 going on 80, however he gets on brilliantly with Maeve! Know what you mean by nicknames sticking - everyone calls her Willow now. I love the way she runs, catches a glimpse of something and tries to stop but her legs keep on going!! She is So mischievous! she Loves pulling a sock off my youngest to get her to play with her! if she still wont play with her she'll make a go for the other foot then run off dangling the socks as "Bait"!!! :)

Sharon, Your comment didn't show up on my 'page' so I didn't see it until now.
I glad you added more photos... now I have a better idea of what she really looks like!
I see you live in Wales... I've never been, but it must be somewhat similar land to Ireland. I can just picture a setter running there through the fields - hey! you probably know that song "Aberganvenny" that I just discovered because of this site!! Joan

Joan, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - life has been hectic! Myyoungest just started playgroup! my eldest has what seems "hundred" of after school activities and Willow had an incident chasing a squirrel! we were on the fields doing recall training when she spotted a squirrel and decided that was infinetly more interesting than doing any training with me and went! followed the squirrel into some bushes and when I pulled her out she had a huge thorn in her nose!!
