About Me:
I bought my 1st Irish in 1974 and showed her with moderate success. I bred my 1st litter in 1977 and kept a bitch who did very well at Ch shows. she was awarded the Newry trophy for best puppy by the ISBC and gained a RCC. I have bred 2 Show Champions in the UK and 2 abroad. I judge Irish Setters at Championship level and most gundogs at Open shows. I was sec of a breed club for a few years and was on the sub committee for the ISBC Irish Setter rescue shceme.

I have also owned a Welsh Springer Spaniel who I made up to a Show Champion at Crufts she was also Best of Breed

    Dear Maureen,

    It was very nice to meet you and talk to you today at the Show in Lausanne. As you know, "Gretel" Sametsuz Handsel has been Best Of Breed, then she was classified for Best In Show, and she won 3rd place on the Podium for Best of the (7th) Gundog Group. I've got a huge trophy and a beautiful ribbon decoration, I'm very proud of her, and Gretel, I'm sure she is !

    Thank you for your great recommandations, and for introducing me to your friend living near Geneva who will be able to teach the rules how to show better my dog.
