About Me:
My greatest interest in life is dogs and especially my own two irish setters. I came in contact with irish setters for the first time in 1973. A friend of mine had one in her family. It was a small male. He was from huntinglines and was called "Rödlus". I decided then that I would have a setter of my own later in life. Several years later I had the opportunity to be taking care of another male irish setter. This was a much bigger one from showlines and that was it. I felt this was my kind of dog. When I got my first dog in 1992 it was a mixtbreed between irish setter and flatcoated retriever, he was a handfull. When he died in 2004 it wasn't hard to decide what breed to buy next. I never since had reason to regret buying an irish red setter. I will stick to it for the rest of my life.
