Yes it is a raised dog bed. They are brilliant I get mine from The Original Raised Bed Company www.theoriginaluk.com  Tel 0161 660 5668. I usually get the mesh covers that are welded and I find the large size big enough, although we have an xtra large one which sometimes accomodates 3 dogs if they are feeling cuddly.
