Sit down yourself between Gracie and Yvette (stil facing them, just turning slightly to the right) - let Gracie sit on the other side - shoot with wideangle upwards - I'm sure you too will get a goodie for that :-)).

That makes sense if I am only half as tall then my shadow will be half as long.  I didn't even notice until I downloaded the pics.

It's not just the lengh of the shadow; it's also the changed angle, that will let the shadow pass left of Yvette's feet, if by shooting upwards it is seen at all :-)). But I really like the expression of that photo!! Maybe without your shadow something would even be missing :-)).

Wow the shadow has gone, it took me a minute to notice as I was reading the comment.

I suppose the shadowy presence of an incompetent photographer might just add a bit of humour to the picture.
