Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
Hobson and Misty are lying on the cot I slept on for months while I was fighting to save Hobson's life and then Misty's life. We travelled up to the University of Queensland veterinary hospital today for Hobson's 4 weekly visit. He has not completely recovered but his vet, Donna said today: "Hobson continues to surprise us!"
As you can see, Misty and Hobson love each other very much.

Hugs to you, Hobson and Misty
Thank you for caring, Barbara and Catherine.
This Easter weekend is an emotional time for me, but in a good way. Last Easter Hobson was in so much pain and he was so sick and I could not find any vet to listen to me and help Hobson. This Easter weekend Hobson is well and he is not suffering pain. Donna, our UQ hospital vet is so thorough and she genuinely cares about Hobson and she understands how much he means to me. We almost lost our Misty too. As usual, Misty created chaos at the vet hospital yesterday but Donna and all the UQ staff love her too.
Sending you both and your Red "kids" much Love and Hugs from Susan, Hobson, Misty and the rest of our gang xxxxx
Positive ions from us, Hobson & Misty. They are worth it, Susan. Happy Easter to you and all your family.
Happy Easter, James and Romeo and Ellen and Finlay and thank you for caring!
Hobson still receives "funny" looks when we are able to go on our walks. Even though we are in Autumn now the weather is still incredibly hot and humid. I had to laugh the other week. A little girl, around 6 years of age, ran past us, chuckling to herself and she said: Your dog has a very funny looking tail! How observant of this child. Hobson understood because I often say to him that somehow we need him to grow a respectable looking English Setter tail! I cannot wait to show you a photo of this. Love and Hugs from Susan, Hobson, Misty and the rest of our gang xxxx
