Yes ;o)) Dusty was 6 years old and we were just at the IRWS training weekend to make up numbers. They said, "him have a go" So I did and Dusty found the caged partidge perfectly. he was on a line, as were all the dogs but our trainer held the line while I walked round to take the photo - I was just a bit too quick because he dropped the line so that Dusty stood independently. He remained steady on point for ages! He quartered and pointed for me all the time when we were out at home but that was the first time he did it in front of witnesses and with me able to take the photo!
And I guess he is about 50 generations 'show bred'!!
