I m sorry about your loss last year - I lost my beloved Molly the year before and as a result met a wonderful friend from Oregon who also lost her girl Eliza and as a result we have become very good friends.  She recently

had a litter and gifted me another girl and when I drove the 500 & miles to pick her up and meet my new friend

for the first time - I came away with a little boy as well - you will see them on my photos - Andy and Shannon

- I just love my redheads but I love all dogs - I also have two little doxies who are long hair and are resuce

babies - one came from a horrendous puppymill and only has about 7 teeth left in her mouth and has bad

burns on her tummy from sitting in feces, etc. at this horrible puppymill.  Then I have my little guy Petey

who is also a rescue - he is a long haired red and loves Brody - Petey has had several homes and was

going to be euthanized when the rescue group pulled him - he is an absolute lovebug and I can t imagine

why anyone would not want him - he is my little shadow.

I m thinking the Field setters must just be in the United States - I think the IS is somuch more regal

looking with all the fringes and as I call them feathers - we love our Irish and our one Maggie who seems

to have the throwback of a Field in there.  Would love to see more pics of Mac - I ve been trying to

capture the puppies as they grow so fast.  Dogs just don t live long enough in my eyes so we have

to adore them while we have them.  Have enjoyed having this conversation with you.  Take care.

They certainly do grow fast - this is MAC at about 16 months.  He will be 2 at the end of February now, so I will get some more phots of him then and post them.    You certainly have your hands full with your pack.   Lucky dogs, in a loving home, some of them for the first time!!!!   Cannot think how people can mistreat animals.    By the way, we also call it feathering.  I just get mixed up at times - more and more so as I get older!!!!
